I know, enough of my ranting. Here is that amazing cover:
Isn't that just wonderful? The model for Sydney looks so good in that angle and I am really happy with this cover. I was a little disappointed with The Indigo Spell cover, but this one for The Fiery Heart just totally made up for it. I'm also really happy they didn't decide to cut out half of the Adrian model's face, and I'm excited that its only Adrian and Sydney on the cover instead of other people trying to cram in! The orange and red hue to this just makes it really pop out, and I cannot get enough of this cover.
Here is the Goodreads Synopsis for it:
In The Indigo Spell,
Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and
gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that
Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked
even her. . . .
But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.
Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.

Dani and I will have a review up for The Indigo Spell very soon! The Fiery Heart comes out on November 19th, 2013, which is great so we don't have to wait a full year for this (though 9-10 months isn't that much better, but I'll take what I can get :D) This is on my to-read list, and I can't wait for its release!
The only thing I'm bothered by is the hair in Sydney's face. It looks like she's eating it! Why wasn't that photoshopped???

Lol! Well personally i don't think the Sydney cover model meets my mental depiction of her...but I don't really seeing the eating hair part! Highlight of night this cracked me up so much :)
Delete:) Glad I could help

Yes Richelle Mead is one of my FAV authors too! :)
DeleteI am curious as to who the male model is. I recognize the female model, but not the male model. Anyone know his name? And I absolutely LOVE this cover and can't wait for this next book to come out.
ReplyDeleteThe male model is Adrian. Although, im not thrilled with his or her hair on the cover either. Oh well, the book will still be epic : )
ReplyDeleteilove the books, but im not satisfied by the covers. Sydney's eye color is an amber brown in the book. not blue or gray.GET IT RIGHT. also, Adrain's eyes are GREEN. THAT AGGERVATES ME SO MUCH
